Featuring the breakout hits "Story of My Life," "It Coulda Been Me," "Ball And Chain" and "So Far Away," Mike Ness and company proved that they could split the difference between rockabilly and Ramones-style punk. | | | Product Details: | | | Vinyl Release Date:

Lets face it these days some vinyl pressings are better than others.. The was a fairly decent pressing of one of the greatest albums of all time.. Definitely worth the money... But if you are an audiophile... Find yourself a little bit better pressing than this one...
Great album, legendary bandAug 20, 2009
By krei This album has kinda become legendary since its release almost 20 years ago. With time-tested 'hard luck story' anthems like "Story of My Life" and "Ball And Chain" and the infamous Cash/Carter cover "Ring of Fire," Social D certainly infused Mike Ness' most tender country influences with the punk rock roots they have become loved around the world for. Their S/T album served as Social D's breakout record on a major label, but a big name record company logo on the back cover does not even remotely take away from the feel, solidity or legitimacy of this truly legendary set of songs.
